Alabama Woman Is Frightened After Zombie Teeth Get Stuck In Her Mouth

Anna Tew was planning to be a zombie for the haunting holiday and spent $3 on a pair of fake teeth for the costume. The zombie teeth attached to her regular chompers with adhesive, but she became unglued when she realized the fake teeth were stuck. It’s not Halloween yet, but one Alabama woman has already had the fright of her life. I was trying to remove them then because they were just tight,” Tew told WKRG TV. “They wouldn’t budge. I even took a pair of wire clippers and cut the tips off of those.” Tew couldn’t eat or drink because of the fake teeth but tried drinking hot coffee hoping the heat would loosen the glue. Spoiler alert: It didn’t work. I drooled hot coffee, I guess you could say,” she told McClatchy News. “They wouldn’t budge. I’m panicking. Of course I’d had a few panic attacks by this point. I tried to sleep, wasn’t no sleeping.”

In the morning, she attempted to get out of the sticky situation by making an emergency dental appointment. But the solution wasn’t quickly found. They really didn’t know what to do,” Tew told McClatchy. “They looked and pulled a little bit, and they were like, ‘Well, we’re going to have to use a saw or cut it off in sections or drill it off.’ Tew couldn’t be numbed during the appointment because the dentist feared her teeth might get pulled out by mistake. The dentist, Dr. John Murphy, told the station that the gums can sometimes cause something to adhere to the teeth and get stuck. “So he went in and picked and pulled and I squealed like a baby and they got them out,” she told WKRG TV. “I will never do it again,” she told the station. “I will never put anything like that again in my mouth.”  Tew’s teeth are back to their pre-zombie state, and she has learned a valuable, if scary, life lesson from the ordeal.

American Airlines: An airline employee “inadvertently fell asleep” in the forward cargo hold of a plane, and remained there for the duration of a flight from Kansas City to Chicago. “The flight subsequently took off with the team member in the cargo hold, which was heated and pressurized,” American Airlines said in a statement. The individual, a male employee of Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Airlines Group, was working an American Airlines flight on Oct. 27 when he apparently fell asleep in the forward cargo hold of a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight landed “safely” at the Chicago O’Hare International airport at approximately 7 a.m., when the employee was discovered upon arrival to the gate. A spokeswoman for the Chicago Police Department (CPD) told HuffPost, The Piedmont employee, whose name wasn’t released, allegedly indicated to Chicago police that he had consumed “several alcoholic beverages.

“Our top priority is ensuring the well-being of the Piedmont employee,” the airline stated. “He did not request any medical attention upon arrival in Chicago, and we are grateful that he did not sustain any injuries.” CPD said they questioned the employee, identified as a 27-year-old man, at the airport before arrangements were made for him to return to Kansas City. American Airlines confirmed in an email to HuffPost that the individual is a ramp employee for Piedmont Airlines and that his job duties include “loading and unloading bags.” He was not injured and not charged in the incident, police say. At the time of the incident, the employee was staffing the forward cargo hold, which did not contain cargo for that flight since there were only 80 passengers of the 160 available seats present, American said. The American team is very concerned about this serious situation, and we are reviewing what transpired with our Piedmont and Kansas City colleagues,” the company stated.

“Chubbs” is estimated to be 15 feet long and he’s back. The 15-foot-long alligator made a return appearance last week, lumbering through the Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto, Florida, then plopping down on the green. “Me and my dad were about to hit off the tee on a par 3 and we saw him lying right on the green.” “He was a beast,” golfer Sage Stryczny, who captured the footage, told Tampa NBC station WFLA. Chubbs became a viral sensation in 2016 when similar footage surfaced, making the gator something of a tourist attraction ― and perhaps course hazard ― at Buffalo Creek.
Stryczny said they were within about 50 feet of the gator as they tried to play. He added that the reptile seemed to be trying to go from one pond to another, but was stopping to rest along the way.  “He doesn’t bother anybody and they don’t bother him.” “People have heard that he is out here and that is all they want to see so they will bring spectators to ride so somebody can get a picture,” Wendy Schofield, a clerk at the pro shop, told NBC station News 3 in Las Vegas at the time. Chubbs is so adored that someone even edited him into scenes from “Jurassic Park”:

Groom Spends $18,000 To Get Married To A Hologram

A Japanese man had the wedding of his dreams to a woman who doesn’t exist. Till tech do us part? Akihiko Kondo points out that he never has to worry about his virtual wife cheating or dying. Earlier this month, 35-year-old Kondo got hitched to Hatsune Miku, a singing hologram that uses a voice synthesizer to perform in sold-out shows worldwide, according to “Inside Edition.”  “For mother, it wasn’t something to celebrate,” Kondo told the Japan Times. Despite her fame, Kondo’s family didn’t approve of her. Not one family member was among the 40 guests who attended the ceremony, which was estimated to cost $18,000. Of course, Miku wasn’t actually there either, except in the form of a stuffed toy, she’s  just a virtual creation Kondo confessed.

“I’ve been thinking about her every day.” he said. Kondo insists his love is as true blue as the color of Miku’s fake hair. “I never cheated on her; I’ve always been in love with Miku-san.” “I’m in love with the whole concept of Hatsune Miku, but I got married to the Miku of my house,” he said. Miku doesn’t exactly live with Kondo either ― except as a talking hologram floating in a $2,800 desktop device in his Tokyo home. It should be noted that the marriage isn’t legally binding in any aspect. Also, TheGamer.com notes that Gatebox, the company that created Miku, is not expecting the virtual vixen to remain monogamous. Although Kondo’s parents are holding out hope he might settle down with a human, not a hologram, he told the Japan Times that’s not going to happen. Two-dimensional characters can’t cheat, age or die, he said. “I’m not seeking these in real women. It’s impossible.” TheGamer.com company has already issued more than 3,700 marriage certificates to people who want to wed a hologram.

Several bright objects were seen traveling quickly in the skies off the coast of Ireland. Several commercials airline pilots reported a series of fast-moving unidentified objects in the skies off the west coast of Ireland last week in an incident now under investigation. The incident began when a British Airways pilot flying from Montreal to London’s Heathrow Airport contacted Shannon Air Traffic Control in Ireland to ask if there were any military aircraft in the vicinity. One pilot said the object or objects were traveling at “astronomical” speeds of at least Mach 2, or twice the speed of sound, The Irish Times reported. The pilot replied that two objects had approached on the left and then “rapidly” veered toward the north. “We saw a bright light and it just disappeared at a very high speed,” she said. “Glad it wasn’t just me,” the Norwegian Air pilot flying from Stewart Airport in New York to Shannon, Ireland said.A Virgin Airlines flight from Orlando to Manchester, UK, then reported “two bright lights” that “seemed to bank over to the right and then climb away at high speed.”  The pilot described “a meteor or another object making some kind of reentry, appears to be multiple objects following the same sort of trajectory, very bright from where we were.”

The British Airways flight was a Boeing 787, the Virgin aircraft was a Boeing 747 and the Norwegian Air flight was a Boeing 737, The Irish Examiner reported. Very interesting report on Shannon high level Friday 9 November at 0630z with multiple aircraft with reported sightings of a UFO over County Kerry. A spokesperson for Shannon Airport told the broadcaster that there would be no comment until an investigation is completed. According to the BBC, the Irish Aviation Authority is now investigating the reports of “unusual air activity.” At least one expert said he knows what the object was ― and it wasn’t a UFO. David Moore, head of Astronomy Ireland, told the Irish Times that he was “1,000 percent sure” it was a meteorite and had received at least four reports of a fireball from people on the country’s west coast. “We had some reports of a massive fireball this morning!” Astronomy Ireland wrote on Friday. That report said it was moving “quite slow” and noted that it “broke up into several pieces.” His organization also noted the sighting at the time on Facebook. In response to a question about the UFO sighting, the organization wrote that a fireball breaking up “really does look like a fleet of aircraft/UFO’s (sic) flying by.”

Fred Flintstone joined celebrities in trouble with the law when a sheriff’s deputy in Pasco County, Florida, pulled him over Nov. 4 for speeding in a Wesley Chapel housing development. He was nabbed in a Smart car customized to look like the foot-powered caveman car seen in the 1960s cartoon series, according to local local station WPTV. Police identified the driver as Mr. Fred Flinstone (sic), and said his real name is Don Swartz.

That’s a Yabba Dabba Don’t! The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post that Flinstone (aka Swartz) “became irritated” after being issued a speeding citation, the barefoot driver “became unruly” and had to be detained, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said. He was later released with a notice to appear in court. “This is what Intelligence-Led Policing looked like in the stone age,” said the post, which included pictures of the vehicle and a barefoot driver dressed in Flintstones garb. The post jokes that the prehistoric Smart car was seized and is now part of the police fleet.

3 States Legalize Marijuana For Recreational Or Medical Use

Three more states legalized marijuana for recreational or medical use on Tuesday. The victories in Michigan, Missouri and Utah expand the significant gains in the movement to legalize marijuana. In both Utah and Missouri, voters legalized marijuana for medical purposes ― the 31st and 32nd states to approve medical cannabis. Voters in Michigan legalized recreational marijuana, making it the 10th state in the nation and the first state in the Midwest to do so. North Dakota, voters rejected a measure that would have legalized recreational marijuana. Steve Hawkins, executive director of the Marijuana Policy Project said “this is yet another rejected election for the movement to end marijuana prohibition.“ “Voters have once again sent a message loud and clear that it is time to legalize and regulate marijuana. The Michigan victory highlights just how widespread support is for marijuana policy reform. Michigan voters approved Proposal 1, allowing adults 21 and older to buy, grow, use and possess marijuana for recreational purposes. Adults can grow up to 12 marijuana plants in their homes for personal use. Additionally, the initiative legalizes the cultivation of industrial hemp, which can be used to make textiles, biofuels and foods. Under the measure, adults can be in possession of 2.5 ounces of marijuana, a provision similar to the state’s medical marijuana law that was approved in 2008.

This issue does not only enjoy strong support on the coasts but also in the Midwest and all throughout the country.”  Voters in Missouri were considering three separate proposals to legalize medical marijuana on their ballot, and all three aimed to legalize the use, purchase and possession of marijuana for medical purposes and would allow the state to set up a regulatory framework for licensed dispensaries. On Tuesday night, just one passed. Amendment 2 legalized medical marijuana and imposes a 4 percent tax on all marijuana sales. That revenue will be used for health care services for veterans. The Salt Lake Tribune in Utah, projected that voters would approve Proposition 2, which allows patients to legally use, possess and purchase marijuana for medical purposes for conditions such as HIV, multiple sclerosis, post-traumatic stress disorder, epilepsy, autism, cancer and Alzheimer’s. The measure would ban the smoking of marijuana but does allow vaping, marijuana-infused edibles and other means of consumption. During any 14-day period, a state-licensed cardholder could purchase as much as 2 ounces of marijuana. Beginning in 2021, medical marijuana cardholders who live more than 100 miles from a state-licensed dispensary would be allowed to grow as many as six marijuana plants for personal medicinal use. However, access to legal medical marijuana was likely in the state, regardless if the measure passed. In October, Utah medical marijuana advocates and state lawmakers agreed to a compromise bill that would legalize medical marijuana in the state but with some differences from the ballot initiative.

Thanks To New ‘Frog Ladders’ England’s Frog Population Could Jump

A small group of British conservationists, The Warwickshire Amphibian and Reptile Team — the memorably acronymed WART – are installing mesh- covered ladders in roadside drains to save trapped amphibians from certain death in hopes that by placing 20 of the rust-resistant aluminum ladders down drains near known breeding pools in England’s West Midlands, they can boost the dwindling amphibian population. “By installing the amphibian ladders, it enables them to get back out of the drains and back to their breeding pools and doing what they should do and making more amphibians,” one frog lover said. “The amphibians are coming to breed and then hitting the road, getting across the roads, hitting the curb, along the curb and into the drains. And then that’s it – end of story for them, game over,” said Tim Jenkins, a ladder fitter at WART. And the issue of trapped toads is not limited to Britain, a 2012 study in the Netherlands estimated that more than half a million small vertebrates like frogs, toads and newts end up trapped in gully pots and drains each year.

It is one of the factors, along with habitat loss, that is blamed for common toad numbers declining by 68 percent in the UK over the past 30 years, according to a 2016 report by the conservation group Froglife. Each of the ladders designed by the British Herpetological Society costs 15 pounds ($20), a large price for a local conservation group. The group hopes their endeavors can inspire other conservation groups in the UK to help the oft-maligned critters. WART says it’s seen a drop in the number of amphibian prisoners since the ladders were installed, but there is a limit to how much they can do. They’re absolutely excellent for gardens because they eat lots of invertebrates – potential pests in your garden,” Jenkins said. “They’re an overlooked species and they have their role in the ecosystem.

I Have Had Sex With 20 Ghosts Woman Claims And Now She’s Engaged To One

Amethyst Realm, 30, of Bristol, says she has had sex with at least 20 ghosts since she was a teenager but wasn’t looking for a new relationship when she went to Australia on a business trip. A spirited fling with an Australian ghost has ended up in true love for an Englishwoman. However, she says that changed on a nature hike when she came into contact with an apparition and felt sparks like none she’s ever known, something amazing happened on her flight home: She felt the presence of her lover on the plane, and apparently not stowed in cargo. “I couldn’t believe it. I was happy and excited — so excited that we had to do something about it. In fact,  we headed to the plane loo,” she told The Sun. “And, well, I am now a member of the Mile High Club.” In fact, it was so great the ghost has now proposed, and she wants the living world to know.

Realm didn’t think it could amount to anything serious because she says spirits tend to stay in one place but the paranormal proposal reportedly occurred last week when the couple took a road trip to England’s Wookey Hole caves, according to the New York Post. “I could actually hear his voice, and it was beautiful. Deep, sexy and real.” That was nine months ago and things have progressed to the point where Realm discussed her desire to marry and have her ghost’s baby on the British show “ITV This Morning” in August. The couple are now choosing a ring but have not decided what kind it will be. Realm, supernaturally, is hoping her ring will have an amethyst in it, but she’s leaving it to her spirit lover to decide. The couple plans to do a Pagan “handfasting” ceremony, in which their hands are tied together, symbolizing their connection, she said. “It’ll be somewhere in the English countryside. “Ghost lovers tend to be more sensual and adept than the average bloke. There’s always more of a connection, because the sex goes beyond physical. It’s like any other kind of sex. ”if you’re making love to a spirit, gender doesn’t really come into it.” The main difference is I just can’t see them,” she told Gloucester Live.

In Utah: Mormon Church Is Thrilled To Endorse Deal To Legalize Medical Marijuana

The Crow here for c4ocradio.com

Related imageSALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Mormon church joined lawmakers, the governor and advocates to back a deal Thursday that would legalize medical marijuana in conservative Utah. After months of fierce debate, the compromise comes as people prepare to vote in November on an insurgent medical marijuana ballot initiative that held its ground despite opposition from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If it passes, it will be revised under the terms of the deal. It if fails, the Legislature would consider a law under the new framework. Gov. Gary Herbert said he’ll call lawmakers into a special session after the midterm election to pass the compromise into law regardless of how the initiative fares. Medical use now is legal in more than 30 states and also is on the November ballot in Missouri. The agreement in such a conservative state underscores the nation’s changing attitude toward marijuana. So-called recreational marijuana goes before voters in Michigan and North Dakota. If passed, it will be a first for a Midwestern state. The Utah-based faith had opposed the ballot proposal over fears it could lead to more broad use, but ranking global leader Jack Gerard said they’re “thrilled” to be a part of the effort to “alleviate human pain and suffering.” The deal has the key backing of both the church and leaders of the Republican-dominated Legislature, who said the regulations in the hard-won agreement have their seal of approval.

Unlike the ballot initiative, the compromise won’t allow people to grow their own marijuana if they live too far from a dispensary, plus it doesn’t allow certain types of edibles that could appeal to children, like cookies, brownies and candies. Utah Senate president Wayne Niederhauser said, “I will do everything in my power to ensure this compromise passes in the special session.” The two sides agreed to scale back media campaigns supporting and opposing the ballot measure known as Proposition 2. Not all medical-marijuana advocates were convinced: Christine Stenquist with the group Truce said she remains skeptical about the deal and urged continued support for the ballot proposal. The LDS faith had long frowned upon medical marijuana use because of a key church health code called the “Word of Wisdom,” which prohibits coffee as well as alcohol, tobacco and illegal drugs. While The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints opposed the ballot measure, leaders also made first-ever public statements supporting the use of medical marijuana if prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a pharmacy.
