Center stage on the East Street Promenade in downtown Santa Ana’s Historic District, the old-world vibe of the legendary theyosttheater.com transforms events into extraordinary experiences. Santa Ana, Ca. has been on a silent rise from obscurity to the top of the Southern California music scene surpassing such venues as The Viper Room, Whisky A Go Go and House of Blues. Newly renovated, The Yost provides a stunning stage for a wide range of events, from concerts and live performances to upscale weddings, social gatherings and corporate functions. Continuing its long legacy as one of Orange County’s oldest, largest and most versatile venues for live entertainment and special events, The Yost has been an iconic landmark of Santa Ana’s vibrant downtown since 1912. With a capacity for up to 1000 standing guests and a history of hosting world-class musicians, fashion shows and film premieres, there’s no other venue of its kind.

On Friday night the c4oc radio nation ascended upon
theyosttheater.com for a CD release event featuring the long running act of Los Angles based LA Guns as the premier performers and they did not disappoint. Their new CD is off the hook with great songs, a hard hitting bass beat with the rhythmic sound Tracy Gunns is known for. Opening the show was the Orange County based Vietnamese band DaVang, who are always willing to kick things off, the bass player, who is known by the nickname Dr. Phil once told me it does not matter when or where we go on we just want to rock America. Other bands such as Sheer Lust, Lizard Fish and Beyond Retaliation kept the crowd well entertained in anticipation of what was to come. But to the surprise of all who love and know the Los Angeles based band Stonebreed, they came ready to entertain, and entertain they did with a hard hitting set of familiar tunes along with some new innovative songs, however they ran out of time and the set was cut short to keep on schedule. All in all, The Yost theater is on point and ready to rock as a premier venue destination for local and National acts in Southern California.
