Several bright objects were seen traveling quickly in the skies off the coast of Ireland. Several commercials airline pilots reported a series of fast-moving unidentified objects in the skies off the west coast of Ireland last week in an incident now under investigation. The incident began when a British Airways pilot flying from Montreal to London’s Heathrow Airport contacted Shannon Air Traffic Control in Ireland to ask if there were any military aircraft in the vicinity. One pilot said the object or objects were traveling at “astronomical” speeds of at least Mach 2, or twice the speed of sound, The Irish Times reported. The pilot replied that two objects had approached on the left and then “rapidly” veered toward the north. “We saw a bright light and it just disappeared at a very high speed,” she said. “Glad it wasn’t just me,” the Norwegian Air pilot flying from Stewart Airport in New York to Shannon, Ireland said.A Virgin Airlines flight from Orlando to Manchester, UK, then reported “two bright lights” that “seemed to bank over to the right and then climb away at high speed.”  The pilot described “a meteor or another object making some kind of reentry, appears to be multiple objects following the same sort of trajectory, very bright from where we were.”

The British Airways flight was a Boeing 787, the Virgin aircraft was a Boeing 747 and the Norwegian Air flight was a Boeing 737, The Irish Examiner reported. Very interesting report on Shannon high level Friday 9 November at 0630z with multiple aircraft with reported sightings of a UFO over County Kerry. A spokesperson for Shannon Airport told the broadcaster that there would be no comment until an investigation is completed. According to the BBC, the Irish Aviation Authority is now investigating the reports of “unusual air activity.” At least one expert said he knows what the object was ― and it wasn’t a UFO. David Moore, head of Astronomy Ireland, told the Irish Times that he was “1,000 percent sure” it was a meteorite and had received at least four reports of a fireball from people on the country’s west coast. “We had some reports of a massive fireball this morning!” Astronomy Ireland wrote on Friday. That report said it was moving “quite slow” and noted that it “broke up into several pieces.” His organization also noted the sighting at the time on Facebook. In response to a question about the UFO sighting, the organization wrote that a fireball breaking up “really does look like a fleet of aircraft/UFO’s (sic) flying by.”

A Mysterious Object Found On A Rhode Island Beach Makes Waves

People first noticed the bizarre object ― which looks a little like a giant metal starfish with eight legs ― off the shore of Westerly, Rhode Island, is making a big splash because of its murky origins. It was embedded in the sand about six feet underwater. Curiosity finally got the better of locals, who hired an excavator to dig up the object  on Thursday, according to The Westerly Sun. The excavator wasn’t able to dig up the object in one piece, but was able to show that it has a circular base with metal poles leading to a single point at the top, according to WPRI-TV. A 12-year-old boy who witnessed the excavation told The Westerly Sun that it might be a UFO. After the excavation, workers loaded the pieces onto a truck and took them to an undisclosed location, presumably for further examination. A view of the strange object found off a beach in Westerly, Rhode Island.

WPRI-TV asked if he knew what the object was. “We haven’t solved anything here today, we have no clue,” Brockmann replied. “Hopefully, the experts in this field will take a look at it, now that we have it out, and be able to identify it.” Archaeologist Stephen Carini had his own theory. It’s not that mysterious. It’s been here forever, It’s a big piece of concrete and metal that they used, probably as a buoy, for rescue rafts when there were shipwrecks here back when,” Carini told WFSB-TV “It’s been marked by a buoy for the past several years. It may be a while before the public discovers what the object really is.

Social Media Freak-Out Is Caused By ‘Mystery Lights’ Over San Diego

The Crow here for c4ocradio.com

Sign, Road, Road Sign, Traffic

Almost as soon as the incident began, people started posting images and videos on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, the set of lights hovering over San Diego on Wednesday night left many wondering just what they could be. At first, the footage showed a single set of lights, hovering in place: “They were hovering in place and they were extremely bright,” Uma Aggarwa told the San Diego Union-Tribune, “It was the craziest thing.” She spotted the lights at 8:20 p.m., which would be a little more than an hour after sunset. The lights were soon joined by a second, smaller set just above. Then, the lights vanished. Reports of sightings came from as far as Del Mar, to the city’s north, San Ysidro, which is to the south along the Mexican border, and La Mesa, about 10 miles to the east, local TV station KUSI reported.

A nighttime mystery in the skies? It was for a little while as tweeters floated theories ranging from drones to UFOs to exercises conducted by the military. One of those theories turned out to be correct… and it wasn’t the UFOs: A Navy spokesperson says those lights seen in the sky tonight are flares. An aircraft squadron is performing “flare training” about 30 miles off the coast of San Diego. The lights might be seen intermittently through Thursday night, when the drills are expected to end. CBS 8 reported that the flares were specifically from Squadron VMGR-325 (a.k.a. “The Raiders”) or the Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352, part of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing based at nearby Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. But not everyone was buying it, @tomdelonge What do you make of this? It was in our (San Diego) night sky tonight. The official word is that it was a military flare exercise. I don’t agree. https://www.10news.com/news/san-diego
