Greetings people of Earth!

What if I told you in a parallel universe Rob Halford and Toni Iommi are together in the same band? What if I told you that we exist in that universe and it may be a reality soon. In a recent interview Iommi was quoted saying, “When the time’s right it would be nice to write a track or two, or whatever, I’d like to do that. It’s nice to work with people that you respect and like.” Of course any recording would probably have to take place after Halford is off the road from his Firepower tour with Judas Priest. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are not collaborating over the internet from wherever they are as they have been longtime friends of over fifty years.

I know this won’t be happening overnight but I hope it’s sooner than later because I’m imagining all the bad ass potential this collaboration has. I have enjoyed both of them separately and can’t wait to see what they do together. Here are a couple of my favorite tracks from Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. Check them out and try to imagine what the both could do when they finally team up. Rob has joined Black Sabbath onstage on occasion so we’ve had a glimpse….I’ll include a vid from when that happened as well.
