Greetings people of Earth!
Today was a great day in music because of these pioneers. What have you done today to be the next to make a breakthrough in music? Be inspired or follow in their footsteps. Use them as a blueprint or decide to break the mold. Either way…we give a salute to these great moments in music history.
1958, Buddy Holly started the first night of a 43 date tour at Brooklyn Paramount Theater in Brooklyn, New York. Go old school and check out this tune…
1968, Pink Floyd recorded their performance for the BBC 2 TV Omnibus – The Sound of Change show from Barnes Common, London, England. The special, also featured performances by The Who, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
1976, Genesis began their first North American tour since Peter Gabriel, with Phil Collins taking over as lead singer.
Whatever music you are in to…check out your music history and find out for yourself why today was a great day in music. If I’ve left something out or you’d like to add something please post a comment.
Thank you, people of Earth!
