Greetings people of Earth!
I had to take a pause from my regular writings as I learned of a local tragedy.
Two people were killed and three others injured Saturday when a fire ripped through a music recording facility in Studio City. LAFD spokesperson Amy Bastman said crews found heavy smoke when they responded shortly before 7 a.m. to the blaze at 3779 N. Cahuenga Blvd in Sudio City, Ca. Two people were dead at the scene and two others were in grave condition. One person was in fair condition, Bastman said. The building has about twelve recording studios, which are used 24/7, police said. Some witnesses said they had not seen fire extinguishers . Two were located in the hallways, but did not know whether the building had fire alarms. Some witnesses said they had not seen fire extinguishers in the building. The names of the injured have not been released at this time and we will keep you posted. Here’s a link to more of the continuing story.
