As you might expect, the on-duty clerk was pissed, you’re in trouble now, or, (Urine trouble now!) An Aurora, Colorado woman, has been cited for property damage after she allegedly used a 7-ELEVEN microwave to heat up a white plastic bottle filled with urine on Thursday. When the bottle exploded, and the pee ended up dripping out of the microwave, 26-year-old Angelique Sanchez allegedly left the convenience store. according to Denver NBC affiliate KUSA. The clerk told police that she threatened to call law enforcement if Sanchez didn’t clean up the mess, according to KOAA the NBC affiliate in Pueblo. Officers found Sanchez at a nearby clinic where she was due to take a urinalysis test for a potential employer, according to the Associated Press.
According to the police report, Sanchez did come back to wiped up the microwave, but she apparently just took napkins and wiped the substance off the floor but not the microwave before walking out again. Sanchez reportedly told the police when confronted, that “she had cleaned up the mess and did not understand the problem,” according to KUSA. The officer wrote in his report, that he had reminded Sanchez that urine had blown up where people prepare their food, Sanchez told the officer it wasn’t real urine therefore no problem. Sanchez was cited for damaging the $500 microwave and she was not allowed to take her drug test that day.
